This was the 2012 5th Avenue Street Fair yesterday. Gorgeous weather. Even though it's the exact same thing every year, there's something special about these NYC street events.
A one of a kind building in the Slope, built over the tunnel entrance for the F train, where it goes back underground inside the Park Slope hill. I actually don't know anything about this building.
Rainy days can be quite beautiful around here. This is 11th St, from the corner of 7th Ave.
The same ol'corner I see everyday. But sometimes everything falls into place. The direction of the Sun. The amount of humidity and haze in the air. The people and the cars. How I feel inside. Everything clicks right into their perfect place. That's how photos like these happen.
The north border of Park Slope. Flatbush Ave. This clock is at the corner of Sterling Pl.
This is a view I love to see when I'm leaving the Slope (or coming back) on the F train. A gorgeous panoramic view of Brooklyn. This bridge, where the train is riding on, is actually the highest point of the entire NYC subway system. It achieves 2 things. One is to pass over the Gowanus canal. But also, it embodies the climb the train tracks need to make to reach the hill that forms Park Slope. Once it reaches the PS hill, the train goes back underground.
