Cold Wet Day!
Waiting for the F train yesterday at the 4th Ave stop, on the new temporary overpass they just opened for this big Culver Viaduct Restoration project. Yes that's ice that formed overnight on the chain-link fence. Yup!
The overpass/bridge will take passengers over the train tracks, onto the temporary platform that's by the express track. In the pic you can make out the now closed Manhattan-bound platform that's already being worked on.
Who are the people in your neighborhood?
Every Tuesday and Friday be sure to check out my new column at F'd in Park Slope. I'll be posting mini profiles of the people that you meet when you're walking down the street.
